About ARS Artworks LLC
ARS Artworks LLC was founded by long-time artist, Anna Rose Soevik, in 2008 to distribute her artwork to be used in new, innovative ways to support charitable causes and human rights initiatives, enliven public spaces with large-scale original works and contribute to corporate success. In collaboration with Janice K. Mandel, artist representative, ARS Artworks is rapidly expanding its initiatives in the public and private sectors. The company invites commissions for medium sized and large-scale, original works.
About Anna Rose Soevik
London-born artist, Anna Rose Soevik, is known for her contemporary large canvases. Her numerous solo exhibitions, include, Pulchri Studios, The Hague; John Matthew Moore Fine Art, Chevy Chase, MD, and group shows in New York, Canada and the Belgian International Art Fair. Anna Rose received her BA in Fine Arts from Ravensborn in London and Foundation in Fine Arts, Painting from the Norwich Art School, UK.
About Janice K. Mandel, Artist Representative
An entrepreneurial, creative writer and editor since 1979, Janice K. Mandel has a passion for innovation. She had a blast shaping corporate identity during the dot.com era, has written numerous features and several interview-based publications about business, including Growing Your Business and Nextwave for PricewaterhouseCoopers, saw the Internet coming as she acquired computer books for Simon & Schuster and served as an adjunct professor for a mandatory computers and journalism course at The Columbia School of Journalism (1987-88). Working with ARS Artworks provides Janice with a dynamic vehicle for exploring the next, new thing.

Current Exhibition
Anna’s most recent public works feature large-scale line drawings and mixed-media, contemporary portraits of community organizers, including President Obama, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks and others. They are on display in Washington, DC, and create an inspiring atmosphere at the Busboys and Poets cafe at 5th and K with others at the 14th and V location and in Shirlington, VA. The Global Exchange shop at 5th & K offers limited edition giclee prints of the artist’s portrait of President Obama.
Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts
Summer 2009
Individual contemporary portraits of visiting performers, Bill Cosby, Elvis Costello, Tom Jones, Gladys Knight and Diana Krall by Anna were on display in the VIP member lounge throughout the 2009 summer season, autographed by several of the artists and donated sold at auction to benefit the Wolf Trap Foundation.
